What is the D-Tools Data Subscription Program?

D-Tools' Data Subscription gives you access to D-Tools database of over 200,000 industry products entered in the D-Tools format for use with D-Tools SI software. It's purpose is to help eliminate the hassle of data entry and give you a head start on building out your database. As a subscription member, you will have access to all of our existing data. Also included in the data subscription is access to extended data (images, brochures and manuals) for all items that contain these features. In addition, you can make requests for product information not currently in the D-Tools database.

The Data Subscription Program starts at $64.95 a month with a one year minimum commitment. Sign up now!

Which Manufacturers are Available?

Please refer to the D-Tools Data Subscription Manufacturers listing page for an up-to-date listing. New manufacturers are added at the request of our customers, so please check back regularly for the most up-to-date listing.

How do I request Data for products not in the database?

To request data, please visit our Data Subscription Request Form, and enter in all required fields. You will be given the choice between Proposal ready data (10 products in 2 days), Complete data (10 products in 10 days), or General data (all products for a given manufacturer)

Once you have completed all fields, submit the form to send it to our Data Team for review. You will receive an e-mail including a case number, which you can use to check the status of your request.

If you have a price list for the manufacturer that may also contain model information such as descriptions and dimensions that would be extremely helpful as well. Of course we do suggest that you remove your cost information in order to retain your confidentiality.

How do I report errors?

To report errors found in published data, please submit a Data Error Report, or use the Feedback button from within SI5.5. You will be notified via email when the data has been corrected and is ready for download.

How long will my data request take?

In most cases it will take ten business days to complete your request.

It is our goal to complete and publish your requests as swiftly as possible and you will be notified via email when your request has been published and available for download.

Is there a limit on the number of products I can request?

There is a limit of 10 items per each data request. Depending on the complexity of the request we may be able to accommodate additional items. Additional data requests will be handled in the order received.
