D-Tools offers a comprehensive product database to support the D-Tools User Community. D-Tools' extensive database contains detailed specifications from over 100,000 Commercial and Residential manufacturer products available for download, enabling you to customize your database with the manufacturer products you sell and install the most. D-Tools manufacturer data includes attributes that make it easier to sell, design, and install products for your audio video, home automation, security, and IT projects including: Model #, Description, H/W/D, MSRP, Installation Phase, Labor Hours, I/Os, and more.
The D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point Program provides comprehensive data from leading manufacturers to D-Tools SI software users at no charge to the user. D-Tools MVP members understand the importance of providing current, quality product specifications in order to better support their dealers in their client engagements.

What is the benefit to D-Tools users? The D-Tools MVP Program is a great way for manufacturers to better support their dealer network. D-Tools users benefit from more complete, accurate data (often with extended data such as images, product manuals, user guides, etc.) to help reduce the time involved in researching products for estimates and system design. In addition many D-Tools MVP members participate in "D-Tools users only" special offers and incentives. D-Tools MVP data is available to all D-Tools users at no charge.
What is the benefit to Manufacturers? The D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) Program enables manufacturers to have a direct connection with the D-Tools user base, building customer loyalty and ensuring that dealers have the data they need to recommend, specify, and install their products. Participation in the D-Tools MVP Program gives manufacturers additional opportunities to get their product information in front of a highly qualified network of system integrators who are managing audio video, home automation, security, and IT projects.
D-Tools works together with MVP manufacturers to gather specific product information such as list pricing, dimensions, product descriptions and back panel information (inputs/outputs). This data is provided free of charge to D-Tools’ vast dealer base. This saves hundreds of hours in data entry, making it easier to include MVP products in designs and proposals.

In addition to supporting your dealers, there are many co-marketing opportunities available. We give your company direct access to the finest residential and commercial systems designers, engineers, and sales consultants in the industry – with lots of ways to reach them with your company’s unique value and offers.
In order to get the data organized and ready for use in our software, we require a list of model numbers in electronic format. Additional information, such as MSRP, descriptions, features, or images, can be included if available. Formats such as pdf, dxf, csv, word/excel or even hard copy are acceptable. Alternatively, if all of the information is readily available from your web site, we can collect it from there and all you need to do is review and approve.
