AtlasIED is proud to announce the appointment of Dirk Greef as Regional Sales Manager for Germany, supporting the company’s ongoing international growth and presence across Europe. Dirk Greef joins AtlasIED Europe GmbH and will be based in Germany.

Dirk Greef has over a decade of experience in the industry, having held essential sales roles in both integration and distribution. His career includes more than five years with a German integrator, where he directed the company’s sales and commercial operations. He then took on the role of Area Sales Manager for Western Germany at a leading German distributor, where he further enhanced his market knowledge and built strong customer relationships.

Simplify cabling in AV installations

Save space and simplify cable management with all-in-one cables. Eaton’s Tripp Lite series USB-C full-function fiber optic active cables (AOC) support 10 Gbps data transfer, 8K video and Power Delivery (PD) charging. These cables have a USB-C male connector on both ends to connect a computer or other video source that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode to a USB-C data or audio/video device, such as a media server, touchscreen display or surveillance camera.

Fast data transfer

With USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps, these cables are twice as fast as USB 3.2 Gen 1 cables. They are backward compatible, meaning the cables can be used with earlier USB-C generations. (USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatibility is required to achieve USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds.)

Premium 8K or 4K video

The cables support video up to 7680 x 4320 at 30 Hz or 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz for high-resolution gaming or video editing. They also support 30-bit Deep Color and HDR (High Dynamic Range) for vibrant colors with richer contrast. HDCP 2.2 encryption allows streaming of content with no loss in resolution.

PD charging

These USB-C fiber cables can carry power to charge, sync and power the host device. The 7.5-meter and 10-meter cables (U420F-7P5M and U420F-10M) can provide power output up to 60 watts. The 15-meter cable (U420F-15) supports up to 40 watts.

Versatile applications

Fiber cables support transmission over longer distances than copper cables without signal degradation. These USB-C fiber cables are suitable for Logitech or Poly video conferencing equipment, digital signage, smartboards, e-sports gaming and surveillance applications.
