For an industry built on stitching together point solutions with spreadsheets and hope, finding a single solution that closes gap between sales, inventory, accounting, operations and service has been long-sought-after.
The search is over. In 2026, D-Tools Cloud solidified its position as the answer to integrators’ business software needs. This year alone, D-Tools Cloud has shipped multiple milestone releases that together introduced hundreds of innovations… these advancements are not just improvements and bug fixes, but new major features and enhancements. Taken one at a time, each innovation is a solid win. Taken together, they add up to the largest body of work in D-Tools Cloud's history, and the clearest signal yet of where the platform is headed.
AI That Actually Knows Your Business
The headline story of 2026 is AI that works with an integrator's real data instead of a generic layer bolted on top. D-Tools Cloud's new AI Assisted Workflows — AI Quote Assist and Ask D-Tools — turn meeting transcripts, emails, voice memos, and notes into a scoped project plan and a catalog-matched, editable quote in minutes. Instead of a static report, integrators can ask plain-English business questions and get answers pulled from their own live data.
That same live-data access now extends beyond D-Tools Cloud itself. The new Read-Only MCP Server connects Claude and ChatGPT directly to an integrator's account, with connectors already published and approved for both. That means teams can use Claude and ChatGPT to build their own dashboards and custom queries on top of their own numbers. It's a small phrase with a big implication: D-Tools Cloud is the first platform in this category to open governed, live AI access to an integrator's own business data.
A Warehouse That Fits in Your Pocket
On the operations side, D-Tools Cloud's Inventory Asset Management system brought per-unit tracking to the mobile app, turning any phone into a scanner that receives, moves, allocates and serializes inventory without a single piece of added hardware. Hybrid Inventory takes that a step further, letting teams mix per-unit and quantity-only tracking at the individual product level. So, a $2,000 amplifier gets the same scrutiny as a serial number, while a box of connectors doesn't.
Purchase order receiving is also improved. What used to be a workflow scattered across several disconnected screens is now one guided process that routes incoming units by destination, fills allocations top-down, and saves check-in, asset detail, and project allocation together. That workflow closes one of the most common points where a serial number quietly gets separated from its unit. Three new live supplier catalog integrations round things out, bringing dealer-specific pricing and availability straight into the quoting process.
Design, Sales, and Money That Move Faster
D-Tools Cloud’s design tools also elevated this year. Interconnect Diagrams now support a branded cover page, a centralized title block manager, and multiple distinct connections between the same two devices. Also, a new Cable Type attribute renders connection colors based on what installers pull in the field, not just signal type, so a drawing reads correctly on the jobsite, not just on screen.
On the business side, D-Tools Cloud’s Sales Reporting was rebuilt around a single view of total revenue spanning projects, service contracts, subscriptions and service calls, with drill-down to the opportunities behind any number. New proposal-review, quote-lock, and won-opportunity permissions let growing sales organizations delegate day-to-day quoting without losing final sign-off. On the Job Costing front, D-Tools Cloud now reports allocated-asset cost consistently across every view and export.
Finally, D-Tools Cloud’s embedded payments solution (D-Tools Payments) now provides Accelerated ACH deposits that offer next-day funding. Previously, integrators has to wait up to four business days for a client’s money paid via ACH to show up in their bank accounts. That speedier deposit means greater cashflow, the lifeblood of any organization.
Why It Adds Up to More Than the Sum of Its Parts
No other platform serving the technology integration industry is closing this many gaps, across this much of the job, in the same year. And D-Tools Cloud is doing it as one connected system rather than a collection of acquired point tools bolted together after the fact.
Competitors can offer a quoting tool, a separate inventory app, an AI chatbot layered on top, or a drawing package. Each one requires re-entering the same information into the next. D-Tools Cloud's approach is different by design: AI that reasons across an integrator's real sales conversations and catalog, inventory tracking that follows a unit from a supplier's box to a technician's van without a hardware add-on, and drawings, quotes, and job costs that all trace back to the same underlying project data instead of three disconnected files.
For an industry that has spent decades stitching together its tech stack with spreadsheets, D-Tools Cloud's 2026 body of work is the clearest evidence yet of what a single, truly connected platform for the entire integration business can look like… and it's still only August.
